Bull Shad Swimbaits is the creation of guide and angler “Triton” Mike Bucca, who built the brand from years of chasing spotted and largemouth bass in Georgia’s pressured lakes like Allatoona. Fed up with conventional baits, Mike set out to design swimbaits that not only look like shad but behave like them—leading to realistic action, lasting durability, and profiles that provoke bites when little else works.

At the heart of Bull Shad are their signature three-jointed swimbaits in slow-sink, fast-sink, wake-bait, and floating versions. Each model mimics key baitfish like gizzard, threadfin, blueback herring, and bone shad, with colors and textures tuned for realism.Premium components like Black Chrome Owner hooks, Hyper Wire split rings, 3D eyes, and detailed resins are used throughout to ensure excellent finishes and high hook-up ratios.
