6.25" Floating Finesse Worm (6-Pack)

Precision meets power finesse. The Musket is a 6.25-inch floating worm built to stand up on a shaky head and tempt pressured bass with a subtle, alive-in-place posture. Crafted by Fish or Die Bait Company, its hollow tail carries two trailing feelers that quiver with the lightest line twitch—giving you a different look than standard trick worms around docks, grass, and rock.

  • Floats & Stands Up – Buoyant material keeps the tail elevated for easy-to-see, easy-to-eat presentations.

  • Hollow Tail + Dual Feelers – Smooth, gliding movement that turns micro-shakes into convincing life.

  • Multi-Rig Mastery – Deadly on shaky heads, plus Texas, wacky, Neko, and drop shot.

  • Confidence ScentPoison Gas (coffee/craw) helps fish hang on longer.

  • Built in the USA – Veteran & law-enforcement made, purpose-built for tough bites.

Best Use & Conditions
  • Clear or Pressured Water: Subtle tail rise and gentle shakes excel when fish are wary.

  • Shallow Cover & Edges: Skip or pitch to shade, laydowns, and grass holes where a stand-up posture shines.

  • Cold Front Adjustments: Maintain action with minimal rod movement to coax neutral bass.

Rigging & Tips
  • Shaky Head (primary): 1/16–3/16 oz stand-up head; thread the worm straight to preserve that upright tail. Pause often—let the feelers do the work.

  • Texas Rig: 1/0–2/0 EWG with a 1/16–1/8 oz weight for light grass; go weightless for a slow, hovering fall.

  • Wacky/Neko: O-ring the midsection; for Neko, add a nail weight to the head and make short, precise shakes.

  • Drop Shot: Nose-hook and hold in place above bottom; micro-rod twitches animate the tail without moving the rig forward.

  • Line & Rod (angler-reported): 6–10 lb fluoro or 10–15 lb braid to fluoro leader on a medium-light/medium fast spinning setup.

Why It Connects

The Musket’s floating rear section and twin appendages create an easy target that looks alive—even when you’re barely moving it. That “do less, get more” action stands out in community holes and around pressured fish, giving you a confidence bait when the bite gets stingy.
