Drifthook Fly Fishing was born in Colorado in 2014, started by professional guides and longtime anglers who saw a gap: premium fly gear that’s purpose-built, easy to understand, and rooted in real river experience.

Founder Matthew Bernhardt pulled from years on the water—growing up around guide boats and packing boxes with flies—to build fly kits that are tasteful, tactical, and tough. Each fly in a Drifthook kit is carefully selected, backed by guide-level feedback, and aimed at helping both beginners and veterans land more trout.
