PennDOT Unveils New PA Sportsman License Plate

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Game Commission and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, has launched a new specialty license plate for outdoor enthusiasts. The PA Sportsman license plate features stunning artwork of Pennsylvania’s wildlife, including the white-tailed deer, ruffed grouse, and anglers fishing from a kayak on a scenic river.

Support for Youth Hunting and Fishing

The plate, available for $40 plus the regular registration fee, directs $14 from each sale to a youth hunting and fishing restricted account. This fund, split evenly between the Game Commission and the Fish and Boat Commission, will be used to promote youth participation in outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing.
